Pro-Life Legislative Day 2023 | Over 100 gathered to have their voice heard! On Monday, March 13, a packed room with people of all ages heard from Senator Albrecht, Senator Geist and Senator Murman. Senator Albrecht explained LB 626 – the Nebraska Heartbeat Act, emphasizing the importance of prayer for State Senators and reaching out to thank champions for life. Senator Suzanne Geist spoke of her convictions as a pro-life advocate, explained the legislative process and shared personal stories about her spiritual life. Senator Murman discussed LB 810 – Medical Ethics and Diversity Act, which protects physicians who refuse to perform abortions without discrimination or retaliation. All three senators discussed the spiritual battles they face as they fearlessly stand up for life. After these talks, attendees moved to the Capitol to lobby state senators. This was one of our largest turn-outs! We are fortunate to live in a pro-life state.
